Our interior spaces in Berlin’s historic Kontorhaus are fully air-conditioned. Around 250 seats across several levels in our air-conditioned restaurant offer plenty of room, whether you are stopping by as a couple to cool down or coming with a large group – no sweating, no stuffy air. Light oak panelling, rustic wooden tables and a cold Helles beer: a welcome way to spend the height of summer in Berlin.

Cool beer needs cool surroundings

The finest beer does not enjoy the heat – and neither do you. We serve Hacker-Pschorr the traditional way, freshly tapped from a wooden barrel at just the right temperature. Whether you choose Edelhell, Kellerbier or a refreshing Weisse, you can enjoy it in our air-conditioned tavern even on tropical nights outside.

A lunch break away from the heat

Every day from 11:30 to 14:30, we serve our changing lunch menu – for everyone coming from an overheated office who needs a proper break: quick, Bavarian and air-conditioned.

Prefer to sit outside?

When the evenings cool down in summer, you can also sit on our terrace. The Kontorhaus’s glass-roofed atrium offers shade with a beer garden atmosphere. The choice is yours: a taste of Bavarian summer outdoors or air-conditioned comfort inside.
